What I am currently doing with my small business

My business has not yet opened, it is currently in the development stage since I do not have funds to get if off of the ground. However, I am currently enrolled for a free, month-long (March 2024) baking course with The Knead in Erasmia, Pretoria. We are encouraged to sell the baked goods in our community and that is how I have been saving some money to start the business.

If I acquired funding this is how I would expand my small business

I do not own any baking equipment besides a 6-cup muffin pan, rectangular baking pan and a whisk found at home. Funding would assist with purchasing necessary baking ingredients and equipment to offer a wider range of baked goods. Additionally, I may be able to offer delivery, although to a limited extent, which would offer convenience and encourage client growth and retention.

How will funding impact my small business

As previously mentioned, funding would allow me to acquire equipment that would enable me to offer a wide variety of baked treats to accommodate a wider clientele palette. Moreover, I would be able to maintain a constant supply of my baked products since I would have the funds to restock on ingredients as and when necessary, thereby building client loyalty. Having funds would allow me to uphold a higher standard of quality for my products since I could afford to stock my bakery with good quality ingredients which would establish an excellent reputation for my business.
